The Gothic Sisterhood

The ghostly pale girl looks out of her bedroom window at the ancient house’s ivy-covered walls, the garden’s shadows, and the reddening sunset on the horizon. She feels trapped in a house full of secrets, locked rooms, and footsteps heard late at night. Her sister moved out a few weeks ago. They’ve never been apart for so long and she has the unmistakable feeling that her sibling is in some kind of danger. It’s a peculiar hunch. Twins know these things. Or is it just loneliness? Far away from there, her sister feels the same. Together they share a curse, but also a hope. One thing is certain. Letters are the last mainstay of their closeness.

Gothic Sisterhood is a letter-writing role-playing game about twin sisters seeking answers about a danger lurking in the corners of their mansions. Requires two participants, a French-suited deck of cards, and writing materials (paper, pencil, pen, word processor, e-mail, etc.) to play it. Alternatively, you can use voice recording software or websites.
