You fell in love with each other when a magical cataclysm tore your reality apart. And when it seemed that the darkest hour had come, you sacrificed everything.

You saved the world.

And it tore you apart.

One of you has become a Guardian, a powerful being who will hold the Balance to the end of time. One of you remained a Mortal and had to find your place again. Here’s a story of your little cataclysm.

The Night We Met is a letter-writing role-playing game about sacrifice, oblivion, new beginnings, and little scraps of hope. Requires two participants, writing materials (paper, pencil, pen, word processor, e-mail, etc.) to play it. Alternatively, you can use voice recording software or websites. It has a front side and a back side.

Triggers: disruption of thought patterns (dementia), death, illness, loneliness
